ABOUT THE BOOK

The book is about a 9-year-old girl named Ása. She sometimes watches TV when she gets home, where the girl says she has many strengths and weaknesses. Ása knows something about weaknesses, but wants to know more about strengths. She asks her mom and together they play a fun game with crowns where they learn about all 24 human strengths.

The book is published in Icelandic and English.

THE DOCTRINE

The book is based on a strength survey by the VIA Institute in the United States. It provides for 24 strengths divided into 6 categories. The book was the author's final project in a diploma course in positive psychology at the University of Iceland's Continuing Education.
